Doubt, hair, and Lolla

Back from another month absence. I've been unmotivated to blog for a while to be honest because I'm not completely happy with my content. Well, more so my content that other people are looking at. I started writing this blog four years ago for myself and anyone else who wanted to read. I've gained  a generous amount of readers and positive feedback over the years for my shitty little blog.I blog about the same five things that I do and same five places I go to so I feel guilty whenever I'm told that someone loves my blog cause its just like...>_< why...it's repetitive and I'm a nobody. My blog has nothing to offer and I don't even use a real camera for pictures anymore. Four years is a long time to be writing about the same thing so I wondered if I should even keep blogging. 

And then on Sunday I got an email from a reader (also from Chicago! How awesome!) who had seen me and said really nice stuff that she didn't get to tell me in person! I was coming home from work and waiting for the train when I read this and I got a huge burst of happy energy and new determination to keep blogging. And to really follow through with trying new things and places instead of just wanting to and bring Takutz Jin out again! Thanks so much Samantha! And thank you so much readers!

Back to where I left off:

July: Wednesday the 24th

Mom suggested we get pizza for dinner. She can't handle jalepenos so we ordered something else.

Was pretty good. Was better the next day.

Thursday the 25th

Finally reunited with Kyle again!

Went to McDonalds again for lunch and catching up. We spent the rest of the evening together yet we didn't take a picture together;;;

Saturday the 27th

It wasn't supposed to be that short but the girl did the same thing that an ajumma did to me the last traumatic chop I had. It took her less than five minutes. -_- To be fair, I gave her a picture of little Princess bubblegum as a guideline but still. It just...no. It was such a plain cut so I wanted to jazz it up so I finally turned it pink!

Met up with Hochul for the first time in years!

Tried Walker Brothers for the first time! 

And then we went to Ikea and I helped him move into his new place really quickly. 

Monday the 29th

April finally took me to Royal Buffet to try for the first time!

The place is huge! They even have an area for just a damn fountain.

I forgot to take a picture of my second plate but we had gone a little late and they were closing so I didn't get to eat as much as I wanted. Or try the chocolate fountain. CRY.

Tuesday the 30th

Sandy was getting her hair cut too so I wanted to follow her and watch.

Sandy has a lot of super thick hair so she probably lost a couple pounds.

Sandy's mom mentioned wanting to eat dduk bok gi which made me want to eat it as well. So my mom talked me through making it.

It was ok. I dunno if the fish cakes were old but they were nasty.

Friday the 2nd

The day finally came!

Tina picked me up so that we could meet up with Jelly and her boyfriend to go together.

Her little black poodle had three puppies and they are the most precious things ever!!

Crystal Castles!

They were AMAAAZING!!! I've had a couple chances to see them perform but I always chose another performer over them. I'm so glad I finally watched them. Alice Glass is a stunning beauty and she really knows how to play with the audience! Wowowowow!

I finally got my laptop back yesterday and am very happy to really start my summer bumming. Not having my laptop for two weeks has been the best thing for my productivity. (You shall see in a later post.) But yay I am back and ready to make up all the posts especially since I'm on this bus to Kentucky for many hours! May posts will very likely spill over onto June as there are only three days of May left and I still haven't even finished April. -_- But even in my absence, I'm very happy to see that the people who visit my blog and the traffic is still the same! Thank you for being regular readers and checking back! ^_^

Anyways, on to the rest of April! There's a lot of catching up to do!

April: Friday the 19th

Got in contact with a friend who I hadn't seen properly in six or seven years. The last time we actually hung out together was when we went to six flags in this big group of kids from my high school and Lane Tech! I'd randomly receive texts from him throughout this large gap but the conversations would never last long. We'd say that we should meet but plans were never made until this day!

For the first time in a while I made an effort in putting on makeup so I took a selca but you can't even tell!

Did some more catching up at Metropolis.

While at Metropolis, I saw Sandy tweet that she wanted to do something so I invited her to join us and she did! Yay! It's so rare! Ha ha ha!

I forget what my drink is but there's Julien's blue motherfucker. Sandy's drink doesn't get a picture cause it was boring old beer.

Julien invited us to his friend's birthday bar crawl so we joined him.

Saturday the 20th

Julien invited me to...I forget if it was a friend's birthday or sorority event thing. But I got to go to the club for the second time in my life!

Thursday the 23rd

I had been craving a burger for the entire month but it wasn't until this day that I indulged and tried Five Guys for the first time. I don't know why I waited so long. Probably cause it was cold out.

Oh my gosh it was soooo~~~ good!!! I wasn't expecting much because I had been told a number of times that it was overrated but it was SO YUMMY! The bacon was all thick and juicy and the jalepenos were so fresh and crunchy! I wanted another one four hours later... It was really hard to keep me from going back. Ah. So good. But so expense~

Wednesday the 24th

Lunch at Wingstop with Kyle before we head off to Biggest Mouth to support Kylie.

Biggest Mouth is our school's talent show and the first place musical performer gets a money prize, I think a record deal with our school's record label, and gets to perform on the main stage at the big festival our school has at the end of the year.

Kylie was a rocker.

Thursday the 25th

My new food obsession:

The Artist's Cafe's Mediterranean Salad. So good and so refreshing and so addicting! I keep craving it! Wah but so expense~

Came home to my mum's dak dori tang. My mum cooking for me is very very very rare. ALL I WANT IN LIFE IS A HOME COOKED MEAL!!!

I don't know why but I watched my old videos and realized my appearance is deteriorating like my metabolism. Last time I checked, I gained 18 pounds!!! WAT!!! I don't even know how!! Nothing in my lifestyle has changed!!! Cry.

Guh stupid wifi that stopped working on the bus. I'm finally posting this many hours at the house I'm staying at for the night. Until tomorrow's post when I'm back on the bus!

Back from the dead

Sorry!
I know I randomly disappear for a month or so but I just got really busy during the last weeks of school trying to finish school work and seeing Hannah and Kyle for the last time before they went back home. And when school did end, I spent all weekend when I wasn't working finishing ten, yes, TEN papers that I never turned in. Woops. I think like eight of them were for one class. >_< So after finally finishing ALL the work, I just took (what was supposed to be a couple days) a good week for myself to do absolutely nothing! And that extended into this week but hey! It was Christmas! :D

Speaking of Christmas, I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I spent Eve working and then actual Christmas day sleeping until like 7PM. Ha!

November: Sunday the 25th

Got to work as usual and opened the door to the back to be greeted by:

 

Boxes to the ceiling. The lady I work with leaves all the garbage for a week to pile up until I come to work to throw it away but this was new. LMAO.

 

Woo! All neat and organized! I think I spent half of my ten hour shift going back and forth throwing out the boxes and cleaning the back up. Much better than having to talk to people and hand out samples!

But I eventually had to hand out samples... But I was cheered up cause look who walked through the automatic doors!

 

Haaaa! Haven't seen Pipat since before school started! And his brother since...Christmas 2010!

Monday the 26th

Our last dress rehearsal before our show opens!
I got there way before call time so I went and got food.

 

It was the first time I set foot in Burnham Mart since I got pickpocketted there XD

Tuesday the 27th

Opening night! I was dying all day. 

 

In the middle of rehearsing our scene for class, I thought it was appropriate to take a polaroid. She does standup! 

Skipped dance and went to Kyle's to wait for my impending doom.

We were just lollygagging in the living room when one of Kyle's roommates, Andrew, came out to try his new waffle maker that he got on Black Friday ha ha ha ha!

I got one out of it XD He's so sweet!

We went into Kyle's room so he could work a monologue for me and when we came out, we found Andrew decorating. Ha ha ha ha!

Thursday the 29th

The last day of our show. I think I had my dad pick me up after strike and I got food from Hmart for some reason.

 

It was disappointing.

Friday the 30th

Went to school to practice with Julia for the last time before presenting them the next week and to catch some shows.
