Finally in the current year: January and half of February

It's about damn time I'm finally writing about the current year... As it's coming to it's end... (⊙_◎) I'm committed to catching up so lesgooo!!

January: Sunday the 1st

Angelica always looks either mad or sad lol.

Tuesday the 3rd

Charnae snapped a car with the license plate "EMBRYO" like a month prior so I was super amused.

Tuesday the 10th

Don't remember why I was over at Angelica's but look at her cute dogs!

With my french bulldog socks.

It's the little things.

Thursday the 12th

I was a med student for the day at Northwestern for a commercial. I was confused about where I was supposed to go (signs can only do so much) but luckily someone from the crew on the other side of the window saw me and pointed to the doors that would lead to where he was. After walking through, a person in medical garb asked me if I was a student, I answered yes, and he told me I could put my stuff in the closet and wait in the conference room. So I sat and waited as more people in plain clothes and medical uniforms walked in. I started thinking "Oh wow, they're even using real doctors for the shoot.", "This is a lot of people.", "Shouldn't I get changed? It's been a while and no one's checked me in..." It wasn't until someone announced the conference was about to start that I realized I was in the completely wrong place and that person from earlier wasn't asking which part I was playing... Walking out of there with a red hot face was probably the most embarrassing thing I did in 2017. (((( ;°Д°)))) BUT in my defense, the actual shooting area was right next to where I was, I just didn't see it cause of the moving wall....ಠ_ಠ

Saturday the 14th

Don't remember how but ended up having dinner with Anna and her brother at Burrito House.

This isn't what I got that night but it's from there and their nachos are the best so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

16th ~ 19th

You guessed it. Played again by the weekly special.

Saturday the 21st
Had dinner with mom at Hoanh Long.

Forgot to take a picture of the rest of our food.

Stopped by sam chon's on the way home and finally got to meet Cookie!

Could not get a decent picture of her for my life. She's so little and cute!!

Saw all the Meitus and downloaded it myself. Had a huge laugh for at least a couple hours.

Wednesday the 25th

Honestly.

The white people at work can't tell us apart.

Thursday the 26th
Tried Taco Madre with Anna before tagging along with her to school to get my own work done.

The food is good but the portions... But who eats fries with tacos anyways???

I don't know why seeing the inside of different schools excites me so much.

Dad needed some groceries and we both heard good things about the food court at Seafood City so we went.

It was all way too salty. We were both very disappointed.

Friday the 27th
I think I was on the way home from work when I got a call from Angelica saying that her dogs had eaten her antibiotics! ( ;ﾟдﾟ) We took them to an emergency pet clinic. Luckily they were okay.

Monday the 30th

I swear it looked way cooler in person.

No one on my snap is a kpop listener so no one knew what the hell this was. Sadness.

Went to Angelica's after work for Charnae's shenanigans. 

Tuesday the 31st

February: Wednesday the 1st

Had another audition for the Goodman the next day. (◐▂◑)

LOL I just think this is so funny.

I was suuuper stressed and slept zero hours in two days trying to work, prepare the auditions (of course I would get two big auditions the week the School At Steppenwolf application is due), and write my personal statement. Being me, I pushed the most difficult part off till two weeks before it was due. I'm a terrible writer and don't know how to write about myself so it took the entire two weeks to churn out a shitty paper. Thank the universe for having met Ciera at that Comcast shoot the previous year who had done the school and graciously offered to edit it for me. Honestly, I don't think I would have gotten an audition if it wasn't for her. ｡ﾟ( ﾟஇ‸இﾟ)ﾟ｡

Thursday the 2nd

Finished/surrendered the statement, quintuple checked that I had every step of the application done, and put everything in the manila envelope to deliver personally later that morning.

Then went to sweet sweet sleep ( ु⁎ᴗᵨᴗ⁎)ु.zZ

Saturday the 4th

Went out to Boystown with Amanda and her friends. 

Roscoe's music is not my thing and I was super sober so I didn't really enjoy myself until near the end. Amanda's group wanted Steak and Shake so we went back up to Niles. Bless Angelica's brother for picking us up lol.

Monday the 6th
This is honestly one of my favorite days ever. ( •⌄• ू )✧ These two kill me when they're together. We were in the car for at least two hours and another hour and a half inside the Target when we finally went in.


Tuesday the 7th

The only good sandwich left on the cafe menu.

I still have all my notebooks and pencils too. I remember thinking that I would use them up in college but I've been done with school for so long and I still haven't made a dent...

I guess I saw that Tina wanted nachos somewhere hence the sorry? I'm honestly so obsessed. I need Burrito House to be closer to me. I want to be able to enjoy these nachos in the comfort of my own home without driving Fast and Furious style to and back only for them to be soggy. ＼| ￣ヘ￣|／

Saturday the 11th
Went out for Angelica's brother's 21st. I got very inebriated and woke up the next morning in dire need of soup.

It was everything.

Monday the 13th
Back at Taco Madre with Charnae this time.

I love their jalepeno/salsa bar. The one in the middle is so good!

She constantly wants nachos like Anna wants tacos. Can't lie though, they were really good. That cheese!

Tuesday the 14th
Never thought this day would come when I was a teen but here I am closer to 30 than 20. Nuuu !!(ﾉ*ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ

Jay baked me brownies.

Charnae saw my snap and was like y u do dat (not a direct quote) and gave me hers! An angel I tells ya! I lost mine and needed it for the plane ride the next day. I always push off packing till the last minute and it was like five in the morning by the time I was done. I don't think I slept in fear of missing my flight. I don't think I ever do?
