February the 4th
Not at all the color I thought it was gonna be but I liked the ugly cuteness of it. It makes me think of Barbie. These were the longest my natural nails have ever been by the end of the month.
Saturday the 6th
Sarah's children snuggling in my lap. Will definitely have two cats some time in my life!
I went over to watch the rebroadcast of the Blackpink concert because I was having trouble with google pay and ended up not being able to watch the actual night of. (╬ Ò ‸ Ó) Why can't I pay for a youtube subscription without google pay? And why does a streaming concert stop selling an hour before show time? But it ended up being fine because I got to watch it with Sarah.
Friday the 12th
Read stage directions for Preston's play in the New Year, New Play festival. It almost might not have happened because of Victory Garden's misstep in having a white woman direct a play about blackface, but it was resolved in a way I thought was done well. Hopefully the people who were harmed got what they needed. And hopefully more institutions take responsibility the way VG did.
Saturday the 13th
Attempted more Pat McGrath mini tutorials and then had to document.
Soo many attempts. Now that I look at them, I ended up choosing the one my face looks ugliest to post publicly (-_-)ゞ゛

My birthday breakfast. My mom said the seaweed soup was extra good that day hee hee
Keeping up my tradition of commemorating Epik High's new album
They've done it again and I don't know how they do it. Even just hearing the first five seconds of Based On A True Story made me get emotional and cry. Can't wait for part two!
Angelica was so cute and came all the way up to drop off flowers and cupcakes! Super cute buds that I unfortunately might have kept from blooming by keeping them in too hot of an area? They're still cute dead though.
Monday the 15th
Everyone goes crazy over mom's kimchi fried rice. I'm glad she brought some back from work because it was SO GOOD that night.
Wednesday the 17th
Sarah came over for my simple and chill birthday bbq!
I looked like a melting Mr. Potato Head the entire time.
The sparkling white grape juice went perfectly with the food.
I asked for two candles since it's the last year of my twenties but I immediately regretted not getting three for the three of us. Good thing there was an extra match.

Thursday the 18th
Mom got her eyes examined. It was the first time I saw those disposable things and thought it was funny.
Paris baguette only does this cake in one size and my mom and Sarah don't like cake so I had it all to myself. No complaints here!

Today
Sideshow did a rebroadcasting of You For Me For You tonight! I'm so happy I finally got to see the whole show. I tried being brave and even did the talk back after. It was a struggle and I had the adrenaline/anxiety shakes for a while after, but I'm glad I did it. It was so fun to gather in this way.
February was a really good month for me. I did a lot of growing mentally. I've been really introspective and somehow finally came to a place of real self acceptance and am on my way to self love. I'm content with the person I've become and where I'm at, while also being excited for the future. And I think all this came at the right time. Now I feel like I'm in sage mode and just enjoying the slow ride I'm on. Hopefully I stay in this mindset for the rest of my life! (^～^)
