Over three years

I just realized that this blog has just turned three years old a month and four days ago! :O I've been blogging for quite long now! It's probably the longest I've committed to something cause I quit everything I start ha ha ha ha!
If you are one of my original readers from way back, you would have seen this ring:
Super awesome, no? I'm so sad that I lost it that day I went to Mitsuwa and jja jang myun with Eva, April, and Sandy. I took it off to wash my hands in Mitsuwa's bathroom and forgot it there. Guess that's what I get for not wearing a ring in a really long time. But I was even more upset cause I watched The Dark Knight Rises with April that night too after work! Especially because it was fucking amazing and awesome!!! Batman is my favorite super hero and this movie has stolen my heart and placed itself first in my favorite super hero movies list! And I have to say, I was drooling over Anne Hathaway more than Christian Bale! XD
I totally forgot to blog about this cause the pictures weren't on my phone. I forgot mine so I instagrammed on April's phone.
Bought tickets and then killed time at Chill for like 40 minutes. Sekret midnight date woo!
Lulz I didn't even know she took this until I went back home and looked at instagram!
I'm waiting for Sandy to pick a day to see it so I can go with her and see it again!! Too good! I would gladly pay again!

Wednesday the 25th
The real last day of Japanese class. We went to the family restaurant of one of my classmate's.
The sweetest horchata I've ever had. Home made too! <3

I love unlimited chips, salsa, and guac.

Some appetizer

My fish and steak tacos.

Dessert at Margie's across the street. Sensei, Juan, HwaYoung unni, and Bjon. Hee my sensei is so cute. Iris and Nick are standing on the other side. My phone died so I had Jalen send me this picture.
It was alright. I never got along with anyone (not in a bad way, I just never talked to anyone) so I was silent the entire dinner.

Thursday the 26th
Had an interview with the director of an film team for a chance of being cast in their short they were entering in the 48 hour film festival.
Unhappy cause I flubbed my interview. I suck at interviews. I always get jumbled and don't answer the question!I will never get a job T__T

I spent over 2 hours resewing these onto the vest. They were sewn on so loosely that I was so scared of them falling off the day I wore it! I still have to do the other sleeve.... But it was really nice and relaxing to do while blasting music. It makes me want to attempt knitting again ha ha ha ha!

Friday the 27th
Headed downtown with Sandy and Cassie to for our peace concert! :X I messed up so many times!
Cassie was playing "birthday" with this little girl who came on the train. Then they started telling each other knock knock jokes that made absolutely no sense and cackled over them. It was so cute!

Stopped by Jewels to get some things to fill our hungry stomachs!

Rehearsed once and then got ready
Sandy being a mum and doing everything for everyone.

Keigo feeling like a martial arts man

I wanted a polaroid of everyone after and Tako failed and covered the flash D:
Jinny and Rachel changed cause they danced too. That's why they're not in Sandy's:
Blurry but better than mine!

Had Keigo take this one lulz

Saturday the 28th
Got cast for a tiny role in that short I interviewed for. They were shooting allllll the way in Elgin so I had to take the metra.
Getting barer and barer as I head north.

Empty station that only has a few benches and windows. That's all it is!

Finally in Elgin >_>

The other cast members

My "tattoo"

I got cast as an android/human thing again ha ha ha
I got airbrushed all over.
My face is too fat for this kind of pulled back hair!
Am I creeping you out yet? Apparently April got a nightmare after seeing this ha ha ha
Compare to the first time I was an android thing XD

It was a really bad day. I was sooooo pissed by the end of everything. Everyone was really pleasant but I got really annoyed with the director. I understand that in this field of work, waiting is most of it BUT, this day was frikkin ridiculous! I'm a pretty patient person and I don't mind waiting. I don't mind if someone wastes my time, but if someone wastes my entire fucking day, yeah I'm going to a little more than unhappy.
I understand that they had really little time to plan and schedule things out and I understand that I was let known that we were likely going to finish at 10 something, in time for the last metra train (which didn't happen), but is making me wait over 12 hours to film my three seconds on screen make sense?
I got the email at 12 something AM the night before saying that I was cast and that my call time was 10AM. Then they sent the script around 3-5AM. I got up after an hour of sleep at 6:30 to read it and then get ready to leave for the station cause Elgin is really frikkin far away from where I live and the metra has set train times. I saw that I only had one line and would only be on screen for like three seconds so I was hoping that I would be able to leave early and make the Wicker Park Festival like I was originally supposed to do before interviewing for it. I got there on time and waited around while they were setting up and filming some scenes while still building one of the props that was needed for the scene I was in. I was fine with waiting the few hours. Then two male cast members who either just came late or had a later call time came, waited a bit, and filmed their scenes and left. This was like, four hours in. Fine whatever. But then it got really fucking ridiculous later when they filming my scene but my part last! I had the least screen time out of everyone and they filmed me last. After the last train time. Even though the director was reminded what time it was. He didn't care. He just said "I know" and continued filming every other shot but mine. Like wtf. The very least he could have done was give me a much later call time. UGH!!! I can't even type everything out cause there was so much that was wrong with the things that were going on and I don't want to put myself in a bad mood again. But I will say that even the students at my school aren't even that bad! I almost got stranded too if it weren't for the nice people in the crew and Tina who picked me up part of the way T___T I just silently seethed in anger the whole day -___- I swear I am not a diva and I rarely ever get angry but it was just too much.  Am I wrong here?? It was the worst filming experience ever. Will never work with him again!

Thankfully the night ended on a good note with bubble tea and venting in the car. Oy vey

Went to the sauna for a little rinse and getting our backs whirlpooled away and then went on the hunt for ilotes with Tina!
We stopped by McDonalds cause I hadn't eaten anything yet and I wanted something in my stomach before having the snack. I noticed that they now offer:
Dipped cone!

Smores pie! So of course I got!

Finally found a stand!
*taken by the stall owner's cute little daughter*
It's not a complete summer without having eaten one of these!
